I'm a food writer, originally from the California Bay Area. I am now charging my way through the culinary jungle of Manhattan, and writing a memoir, Cooking and Screaming, due out Spring '09. Although I do have other interests (I'm a remotely well-rounded individual) this site is about my life with food. It features the occasional recipe, the anecdote, the questions about, and stories having to do with my experiences. This site is for everyone, the people who love and know a bit about food, those just learning, and the culinarily clueless.
